Another Outsourcing President? No Thanks.

Senator John McCain is behind the giveaway of a $40 billion U.S. Air Force tanker contract to a joint venture of Boeing rivals, Northrop Grumman and Airbus. This is European Aeronautic, Defense & Space Co., the parent of Airbus and based in France, and Northrop Grumman, based in Los Angeles.

Boeing now will miss out on a deal that it says would have supported 44,000 new and existing jobs at the company and suppliers in 40 states.

“I hope the voters of this state remember what John McCain has done to them and their jobs,” said Rep. Norm Dicks, D-Wash., whose state would have been home to the tanker program and gained about 9,000 jobs. “Having made sure that Iraq gets new schools, roads, bridges and dams that we deny America, now we are making sure that France gets the jobs that Americans used to have,” said Rep. Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill. “We are sending the jobs overseas, all because John McCain demanded it.”

Angry Boeing supporters are vowing revenge against Republican presidential candidate John McCain, as should every unemployed worker in the U.S. for this stupid move on McCains part. He claims that he’s saved us taxpayers some billions of dollars by doing this when in fact he’s doing exactly what Bush has done and is supporting multinational corporations at American expense. He very likely is being heavily rewarded for this perfidy that is actually taking billions of dollars away from American workers.

This is exactly why our economy is falling apart, because of the greed, corruption and cupidity of those we entrusted to keep our nation strong and safe. If McCain were a Democrat, the Republican party would be accusing him of treason for this.

McCain is also known for frequently losing control of his temper. This alone is a terrible trait in a president. I really don’t like this guy, he’s dangerous, way too old for the job and mentally unstable. As much as I dislike religious fanatics, Huckabee would have been a lot better, which is probably why he lost out to McCain. Sheep vote for the one they’re told to by the Great Cyclops.

I’m off to my cabin for 10 days or so, during which time I fully expect visits here to drop to zero. Good thing it’s a new blog. See you when I get back.

I hope he’s right and the Gulf Coast does get the work, Debbie. Enough of our manufacturing has been torn out by the roots as it is.

I am still not sold on McCain. I do hope he is right though.
