One new porch pic as promised. You can go back to sleep now.

Howdy, it’s good to be home again, though it was an interesting and fun time out in the hills, too. The porch and deck are built now, the solar system is charging away at the pair of deep-cycle batteries that power a few small appliances, and the Mosque outhouse survived the winter in fine shape.

Tomorrow I’ll get a pic up of the current outside appearance of the cabin. Right now I’m relaxing from the 500 mile drive home.
