Your Leader. Here I am, eating grass. Pretty good grass. Do you like my ear tag? I wonder what it's for.One day I looked up from the ground and looked around and it HIT ME! This is GRASS! I yelled out to the other sheep, "Hey, this is grass. We've been eating GRASS!!"
Black Sheep speaking, here. Standing out from the herd is thankless, I tell you. (bleat.) The other sheep pay me no attention and the wolf is always looking to gobble me up. No wonder all the other sheep are just followers.

Friday, May 8th, 2009Opposite Marriage. Now there’s a new term to make us all proud. Opposite Marriage. Supposed to mean a marriage between a man and a woman.
Opposite. All the WRONG connotations. There is nothing OPPOSITE about NORMAL marriage. Homosexual marriage is OPPOSITE to normal marriage, so let’s do this:
Marriage between two people of the opposite sex = NORMAL
Marriage between two people of the same sex = OPPOSITE
You know, this is like the Right To Life versus the Right To Choose. The Right versus The Left. The anti-abortion crowd didn’t like being called anti-abortionists so they spun a new name for themselves, Pro-Lifers, and a new one for pro-abortionists, calling them Anti-Lifers. So then the Anti-Lifers spun a new name for their view, Right To Choose, and the Pro-Life crowd had to follow suit and call themselves Right To Life.
Marriage isn’t just a religious institution, in fact, while religion did it’s level best to assume the power of being the bestowers of marriage, marriage was originally and has always been a civil institution, for the establishing of a household and the right to bear and raise children. Bastard children weren’t heirs and became subjects of abuse and often criminals because of their lack of established parentage and the protection of a home. Marriage protected society and children, both.
Today, values are not values for their own sake. Today, words are values and by renaming negative aspects of human behavior with positive-sounding words, we accept these negatives into our society. It works both ways, too. For instance, homosexuals call me “homophobic” for speaking out, when the word means “fear of homosexuality”. Homosexuality isn’t frightening, in fact it helps reduce the rate of population increase. It just isn’t mainstream. But anything to paint the truth with a tar brush is acceptable to the Politically Correct, in order to reach their goals.
What are their goals? Homosexuality accepted as a normal part of all society. Marriage, child adoption, spousal privileges, open and public displays of homosexual behavior, all of it. Socialism and total government control of enterprise. Socialized medicine. A social welfare state. Open borders and unlimited immigration. The abolition of religions.
The Right used religion as their shield while the Left used the extremism of the Right as theirs, and the Left is winning handsomely. Politicians in America should know better than to bring their religions into it, when our whole system of government is founded on the basic principle of not just freedom of religion, but freedom FROM religion. Separation of Church and State. When John F. Kennedy was running for President, an issue was made of his being a Catholic. He made one statement, to answer the burning question, which was NO, he would never take direction from the Pope while he was president. He never mentioned his religion again and the furor died down. The Right have been shouting their self-righteousness at us since Bill Clinton became president, and after 16 years of it, it’s no wonder the American public has swung the other way. Anything to get rid of that horde of corrupt liars and their rigid, extremist views.
Now we have a new horde of corrupt liars with rigid, extremist views, only the new one has Politically Correct on their side instead of God.
If you take a big, long pendulum and give it a push, it will swing back and forth. Give it a little push each time it comes back to you and it will swing wider and wider as you keep giving it that little extra push each time. This is what our world is doing and we’re in sync with it. Our weather is oscillating. Our winters are getting colder and wetter and rougher, and our summers are getting hotter and dryer, with the result that our breadbasket lands are losing their ability to be farmed productively.
We humans are oscillating socially in tune with our planets changes, and for us too, the pendulum is swinging wider and wider.
This rant isn’t about reaching a conclusion, only about observation. This is how I see the radical changes going on, on my world. There is ultimately no winning or losing in all this, as the pendulum always swings back the other way eventually. Most of us are riding it, only a few of us take the time to stand off and watch it. I suppose both are equally exciting.
