While I’m on a rant here (see previous post), I want to point out something that’s been annoying me for a really long time.
Some black woman was just now taking up space on my TV screen saying how we need to talk about race in this country and Obama needs to get dialogue going about race.
Of course, the race she’s talking about is Negro. Just Negro. She isn’t interested in and didn’t mention Hispanic, Native American, Asian, Arabic or Caucasion. Every single time I hear someone whining about race, unless it’s some Muslims claiming dislike of Islam is somehow racist, it’s some black person running their mouth about how discriminated against they are, how bad they have it, how the “white establishment” mistreats them and keeps them down.
I lived in Florida for awhile in a mixed neighborhood that was white, black and Hispanic. The white people minded their own business. The Hispanics were noisy. Ahh, but the blacks. They were altogether different. They sold drugs, threw their trash and garbage over their neighbors fences, snuck around and stole from the rest of us at night and those were the ones whose yards were littered with trash and filth. You had no problem telling where black people lived. Not all, just a percentage, many of their yards were okay. But all the bad ones belonged to blacks.
What black people do best is run their mouths. Second best thing is to hate everyone else. Third is to have no regard for anyone except themselves. Put this all together and you have people like the idiot on TV who says we need to talk about race, when what she meant was, we should all pay lots more attention to black people and give them lots more free stuff and advantages that other people don’t get.
Black people are generally more violent and socially maladapted than most others with the exception of all the illegal alien Hispanics who’ve been flooding unchecked into our formerly wonderful country. One in ten blacks, male or female, will go to prison. Almost one half of prisoners is black. Blacks are only 13% of our total population. Hispanics make up just over 15% of our population and are nearly 16% of our prisoners. By contrast, whites are about 80% of the population and 43.6% of prisoners.
So maybe we should talk about race, but not from the Oh Pity Poor Black Me point of view. More from the Damn, We Need To Stop Enabling This Crap point of view. The NAACP, National Assn. for Advancement of Colored People, continues to be the ugly face of racial hatred behind most of the whining, complaining and jockeying for more free handouts. They’re the original We Hates Dem Damn White People bunch and they’ve been a malignant force for many decades in the effort to maintain racial enmity between Negroes and all the other races in America.
One of the “race” things we should talk about is ending paying unmarried women welfare money to help support their children and themselves. Not just black women and kids but those of all races will undoubtedly suffer if we do this but it needs to be done. Those who can and want to will go out and find some kind of work. The children will have to be supported by members of their families, local charities and churches or whatever. But the welfare has to end so we can stop this endless breeding of new young criminals to replace those who get shot and killed or end up in prison.
Plenty of jobs can easily be created in this country by increasing tariffs on foreign goods and using that money to re-start our dormant, and in some cases dead, manufacturing sector. The money could be given to established entrepreneurs and their use of it closely monitored to ensure that it was used to build or rebuild businesses. Back in the late 1960′s and into the 1970′s, the Small Business Administration was making loans almost exclusively to blacks. The blacks then took the money, bought businesses, sold the inventory, partied on the money and when their stock of goods ran out they shuttered the windows and left, and never repaid the loans.
I got an SBA-backed loan in 1970 in spite of being white by demonstrating that I was “disadvantaged”. It wasn’t easy because the people told me out front that I had to be black to get a loan. As a white person I had to prove that I had good credit and a perfect repayment history, even though blacks were under no such requirement. Yes, I repaid every dime of it.
The SBA needs to either be abolished or restructured to accomodate a more constructive approach toward rebuilding America. In fact Ronald Reagan tried to abolish the SBA, to his credit. Another institution that needs to be gotten rid of is Affirmative Action, which gives blacks entry preference into colleges with lower grades than other students, among other outrages. This results in an overall lowering of national expertise among graduates, a higher college dropout rate and prohibits some of our best and brightest from even attending college.
Yes. Let’s talk about race and what to do about the great disparities between races that are entirely the result of government meddling and caving in to political and Politically Correct pressures. It is indeed time we really got serious and talked about race.
