He’s fought against laws that would prevent illegal aliens and other non-citizens from voting, at the same time saying that “I would argue that of all the freedoms we have today, none is more important or more sacred than the right to vote.” For this mangy dog, that includes Illegal Mexicans in violation of our Constitution. Not too bad. Every day has been a bright, sunny day, and the neighbors I left behind told me 4 days ago that it started raining the day after I left and it was still raining. I got the Hell out of there just in time.
I moved away to get rid of my accumulating collection of allergies as well as being stuck inside waiting out the never-ending foul weather. This little desert community is not really my first choice but it is what I can afford and it has advantages. There’s a lot of good fishing around here and other stuff. And… all my allergies have gone away.
As soon as I finish the enclosing job on the big carport behind the house and get the rest of my tools and equipment moved into it and hopefully safe from the local tweakers, I want to get over to my 20 acres nearby and explore it. At last I’m doing stuff outdoors again. Washington is no place for people who love sunshine.

Our little slice of heaven out here is still for sale and the local speculators are driving the price way up to where it’s not feasible for us to buy it. Does’nt matter to me , as i’m getting excited about arizona anyway. Prescott Arizona is the place where we’ll probably end up, maybe with a b+b and small ranch. And yes, I have a metal detector, and that 20 acres is downslope from a bunch of gold mines that were producers starting back in 1860. It has a year-round spring and an old galvanized bathtub by it that’s a 100 years old if it’s a day.
