Looks like some white guy shot up a Sikh temple full of people, and killed six of them.
I’m going to make the assumption that the shooter thought the Sikhs were Muslims. This is an easy one to make for most people, since the average American can’t tell one Mid-Easterner from another or one Eastern religion from another.
Old Sikh men are a sight. They let their beards grow out all their lives, so when their hair turns white, here’s this enormous bush hanging off their faces, and they comb it outward to fan it out as big as possible. Add to that a turban and their native garb with the traditional curved knife in a fancy belt sash and you have a picture fit to scare the living crap out of little kids.
If you encounter one of these old Sikh men running a gas station or convenience store, chances are good that he’ll silently glare at you while his son runs the cash register, because the old boy doesn’t speak a word of English and he’s daring you to look at him funny.
This naturally tends to piss some people off who expect friendlier treatment, and once in awhile one of the more easily fired up customers comes back with a gun, or gas and a match, to get these “Muslims” out of the neighborhood one way or another.
A glaring, challenging stare coming from an old Sikh man is just part of their culture. Sikhs were the bravest fighters the British could enlist. The Sikhs have always prided themselves on their courage and ferocity. They also pride themselves on the respect they give to women and the dislike they have for Muslims, and Americans need to learn the difference and stop harassing the Sikhs.
I’m all for firebombing and shooting up Muslim temples and businesses. And their homes. Don’t want to forget their homes. I’d say their dogs, too, but Muslims don’t own dogs as they consider them “unclean”. I think that means that they’re not allowed to have sex with dogs, so why own one? Goats are okay though.
But yeah, Hindus and Sikhs are cool people. Hindus wear turbans too sometimes and their women often dress in saris, a floor length dress of thin cloth and in floral prints or very bright colors and all sorts of fancy sashes and stuff, and a head scarf like Muslims wear. Hindu’s think every critter is sacred, just about, and are very respectful of everyone and everything, and they have a deep dislike of Muslims, just the same as Sikhs do.
So if you’re one of the people looking for a place to utilise your semi-auto weapon or that lighter and can of gasoline, try to exercise a few brain cells FIRST, okay? Don’t go after our allies, then you become part of the problem. It’s the same as hunting deer. That guy in the day-glo orange vest is NOT a deer, don’t shoot him.

There are some problems with those groups but they (the legal migrants anyway – the illegals are another story) are generally useful. On most stats in the UK, Sikhs and Hindus come out better than us whites. Not been screwed by the welfare mentality. (yet)
Unfortunately, some on the far right are not too well equipped with brain cells.
Some people don’t know the difference between Muslims and Sikhs? Wow. I thought that everybody had figured out the difference by now.
AOW — Afraid not. I did a google on Sikh attacks and there’s been a bunch. In every case, the culprit thought they were Muslims.
