“Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday lashed out over the claim that the administration misled Americans about the nature of the Libya terror attack by asserting that it was the result of a protest, raising her voice during a Senate hearing and asking: “What difference, at this point, does it make?” 

What difference? The difference is whether we were being told the truth or being lied to! That’s what difference it makes. Hillary’s responses to the questions being asked her at the Benghazi hearings is a litany of “I don’t know’s” and “I was never told” even as she insists that she bore all the responsibility for dealing with the embassy security and the response, or I should say the lack of response, during the attack and afterward, but shared none of the blame.

The questions themselves fall short and don’t hit on the real issues. In the end, she’ll accept full responsibility, but she’ll manage to avoid taking any blame, as K.T. McFarland points out here while also pointing out the ten real questions that congress should be asking of Hillary.

1) Why was the Administration quick to embrace the anti-American, anti-Israel Muslim Brotherhood as the new leadership of Egypt? Why have we stood by while Al Qaeda is setting up shop in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula?

2) Why were no efforts made to secure Qaddafi’s large weapons caches in Libya before he was removed from office?

4) Why has the administration failed to punish those responsible for killing Americans and attacking American soil in Benghazi?

I know why. It’s because Obama is a Sunni Muslim and supports the efforts of Saudi Arabia to make the whole world into the Ummah, an all-Muslim world. This can’t possibly be any clearer than it is to anyone willing to look at it with open eyes. But most of us aren’t, we can’t stand the idea of everything we know crashing down around us, so we keep looking the other way, and pretending, and help it all come to pass by doing so.
