The top of Fox News this morning is the supposed astounding revelation that the US is now ready to conduct talks, “diplomacy backed by pressure”, with Iran.
Haven’t we already done this, about several hundred times, actually? Why is this news? For that matter, why are we being told this? What possible point or purpose can there be in presenting this story to the public when we’ve been down this exact same road with Iran so many times before, without the slightest degree of success in achieving our goals with them regarding their nuclear program?
During all our previous “talks” with Iran, when they failed, more sanctions were voted in against them and the sanctions have done absolutely nothing. The point of having these so-called talks at all is that if the diplomacy fails, then action is taken. So now we’re going to do it again? What actions are left?
This may be the prelude to action, actual, real action this time, and then we can say to the world, but mostly to the American public, “Well, we tried to get them to back off their nuclear program peacefully, but they won’t budge so now we must take military action”. Otherwise, what possible point can there be in talking to people whom we know are pathological, who won’t move an inch from their planned course of destruction regardless of anything?
The Iranians are Shiites. This matters greatly, since Obama and the Saudi Muslim Brotherhood, and al Qaeda are all Sunni, and Iran is a direct and very hostile threat to Saudi Arabia. Note that these supposed talks with Iran come directly on the heels of Israels destruction in Syria of a convoy of Iranian weapons bound for the Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel has declared her intentions loud and clear, and right now, at least, the enemy of Saudi enemies is their friend.
This may turn out to be just another hot air exercise, but the timing is suspicious.
Report: Large Explosion Sabotages Iranian Nuclear Site
Reza Kahlili, a former CIA spy in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, reported to World Net Daily that a former intelligence officer of the Iranian regime has claimed that there has been an explosion at the Fordow Nuclear facility that has caused extensive damage, shaking every thing within a 3-mile radius of the facility, and 240 Iranian personnel were trapped inside.
Traffic was reportedly closed down within 15 miles of the Fordow Facility and the Tehran-Qom highway was also shut down. The Iranian regime has officially denied this event actually took place, referring to such allegations as “western propaganda.”
However, an Israeli intelligence source has confirmed this report in Arutz Sheva, claiming that the Fordow Facility suffered a “mega-explosion” last week.

All bad news for Iran is good news. An explosion of that size in the underground Fordow nuke plant would pretty much have to be a reactor blowing up, which would have radiated the whole place into unusability and it would have to be abandoned. If so, that doesn’t stop Iran but it helps slow them down.

That’s reasonable from Obama’s Sunni standpoint. The Taliban, like al Qaeda, is the creation of Saudi Sunni Osama bin Laden, which makes them brothers to the Muslim Brotherhood. Just part of the Arab Spring, folks, the wonderful democritization of the Middle East, nothing to see here, move along.
