“Police say a homeowner shot and killed a 16-year-old suspected of breaking into his Phoenix home Friday afternoon. The 36-year-old homeowner arrived home to find four men ransacking the property, and as the suspects were fleeing the home, one of the suspects approached the homeowner, who fired one round at him from his handgun.
The suspect, identified as Mario Barcenas, was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. Police say that the homeowner acted in self defense and charges have not been filed. The other suspects have not been apprehended at this time.
This looks like one more burglary by illegal aliens, and now they’ll have to find another young burglar to train to a life of harming others for a living. Burglars don’t get carded before they get shot, but chances are that Mario didn’t have valid I.D. anyway, not that it would have mattered. Too bad the homeowner wasn’t able to kill all of them.
This is why people should be allowed to carry guns. The criminals already have them, ones they stole or traded some drugs for. It’s the honest people that the anti-gun laws are aimed at.
In Idaho, people who committed felonies but have done their time and completed their paroles can own firearms again. Other states have varying levels of restrictions but Idaho has the least of them, and when have you ever heard of a gun-violence problem in Idaho? The states that are the easiest to own guns in are the same states with the lowest gun crimes, because citizens aren’t prosecuted for shooting back the way they are in states like California, and the crooks aren’t facing helpless, unarmed victims, and they know it.
It’s a case of either no one has guns or we all do, and with the millions of guns already here, the only option left is for all of us to be armed. Even in the days of genteel living, gentlemen and ladies packed concealed weapons, and as our population continues to grow, so does the danger of attack. The danger of attack from the police on innocent citizens is a constant one as it is. In the hunt for one of their own, Jordan Dorner, panicked police have shot up two separate pickup trucks and injured three people, shooting one woman twice in the back. Clearly, we can’t rely on the police to protect us when they’re shooting at us too.
All police are taught to protect themselves first and worry about crime victims afterward, and with that philosophy, it’s no wonder that more citizens in states where concealed carry is allowed are stopping crimes.
I don’t give a damn that Mario Barcenas died. But because of his age, the mainstream media will cry a river.
The LAPD is showing its incompetence — at the least.
