ENTITLEMENTS

I grew up thinking that government was a source of money for us instead of the other way around. I think we all did, and I can’t recollect one time where our government ever tried to tell us otherwise, either.

Working stiffs get what’s left after tax deductions, so they think that what the check says is what they make. In truth they never see the money taken out, so why shouldn’t they? But when they can get some of it back, through some subsidy or entitlement or whatever, damn right, take it and plan on it to keep coming.

I always resented the big wad of taxes taken out of my paychecks as most of the rest of us did, and still do. We are taxed heavily, so damn right we want entitlements. We feel entitled and no reason we shouldn’t. Where entitlements have now become a big liability for us is with all the Mexicans who’ve been welcomed in by a Congress full of traitors, who are draining the programs dry. It used to be just the blacks but they’ve got major competition now, and now that most of them are integrated and have jobs, the Mexicans are sucking up their taxed wages too.

So who will ultimately get to suffer the most? And are, right now? The working stiffs! It’s the taxpayers who always take it up the ass and always will be.

Americans are now making less wages than they were at the start of the Obamination. People are poorer, on average, yet prices for the basics, food, fuel and clothing continue to climb. At the same time, taxes are increasing to pay for more spending. The obvious outcome is that as our spending power decreases, we buy less, and that ends up with less people needed to work to produce what we buy, so unemployment goes up, more people collect unemployment benefits out of our tax base, less taxes are paid in…….

And eventually the biggest entitlement will be the first to be finally cut, Medicare. They’ll do it by decreasing the percentage paid, putting maximum payments on medical procedures and tests, and reducing recovery and outpatient payment periods. People will be screened a lot more closely, too. Social Security, which is NOT an entitlement, will be treated as one and the qualifying age limit will be steadily increased, while payments will be decreased.

I’d like to think that our financial ruin would drive all the Mexicans back to Mexico, but the truth is that Mexico’s prosperity has been tied to our own for at least a century. As we get poor, Mexico gets poorer. We’ll never get rid of the fuckers unless we put a tent over America and pump in the gas.

Don’t look for entitlements to go away anytime soon, because the politicians use the promise of them to get votes. But do look for the payouts to become harder to get as the tax base diminishes and prices keep rising. Hungry people are unhappy people, and they all have guns.

There will be riots and dead bodies. Whole city blocks will be in flames. The National Guard will shoot enraged citizens dead, there will be accusations and outrage, politicians will be attacked, their homes attacked, guards posted, martial law declared for some areas.

Don’t forget to bring the marshmallows.

  1. Recently, Mr. AOW posted something about the entitlement mentality although he didn’t use the terminology “entitlement.” You might be interested in reading Mr. AOW’s short essay.

    Black Sheep,
I saw your comments today at my site. Thanks!

I haven’t bee reading blogs much lately because I am concentrating on getting better. So much therapy and home exercises! But I can’t get better unless I do the work myself! I do not think like people who are always looking for freebies!
