Crude oil futures soared past $145 a barrel for the first time ever Thursday before a bounce in the U.S. dollar cut into the gains.

Be Warned, good people. Regardless of any of the happy lies flowing from the mouths of pretty much all our politicians as well as the wanna-be contenders, it’s going to get a hell of a lot worse. The world has ridden the crest of the prosperity wave for a long time and now that wave is crashing on the rocky shore, as all waves must.

The Fed has run out of fixes for inflation and can now only issue statements designed to slow it down. It can’t actually do anything any longer, and it’s running out of statement material as well. The interest rate can’t be lowered more than the 2% it’s at now, to keep mortgages payable so people can afford housing. Raising interest rates raises loan costs and sucks money out of paychecks, which reduces sales of homes and goods, which puts people out of work, which results in recession/depression. This would ultimately reduce inflation except that now, the current inflation is being fueled by the rising cost of oil, from which comes all of our plastics and almost all of our fuel to transport all our goods.

The rise in oil prices is due to the devaluation of the dollar. When oil is $50 a barrel and then the value of a dollar drops to half, oil goes up to $100 a barrel to compensate and it does it RIGHT NOW. Wages and most goods take longer to react since it takes awhile for the increased costs to be felt.

Since the world is tied to the U.S. economy and our dollar, the lessening of the dollars value has an added impact beyond the increasing price of oil. China’s economy, for instance, is slowing down, since they sell so much to us. Our devaluating dollars that we pay them with, buy less oil and raw materials as each day passes. So they must raise prices to us. Higher prices mean that we can afford to buy less because our wages haven’t caught up, which means that more companies have less income and put more people out of jobs because of it. 62,000 more jobs this past month in the U.S.. This rising unemployment bounces back to the other countries, like China, whose economic growth is dependent on our trade, and they start laying workers off, too, which creates recession/depression in their countries.

The original cause of the devaluation of our Dollar is simple. Printing too much. The global economy is based on international credit and the reality is that only about 5% of the money in circulation is paper and coin. All the rest is electronic and exists only on computers and notes in ledgers, so creating more money is a snap. The money supply of the U.S. can be doubled or tripled literally in seconds on a computer keyboard. This sort of thing can raise havoc with a national credit rating, and it has for us.

In order to finance the horribly expensive war in Iraq, our government has created the money out of nothing. The longer this has gone on and the more money that’s been created, the less that money is worth because our credit has a spending limit the same as you have on your credit cards, in the international market place.

Now things are out of control. It’s like a snowball rolling down the mountainside. The farther it goes the bigger it gets. This is the whole purpose of our system of Checks and Balances in our government that George Dubya Bush has completely violated, and this is why the snowball has become an unstoppable juggernaut. Our government is supposed to be financed almost entirely by taxes. As corporate profits diminish and employees are laid off, government tax income steadily decreases. Yet our government continues to escalate its spending, by both borrowing and increasing the money supply. We’re making less and spending more. No one can keep that up for long, and no nation, either. We’re about to crash.

For some time now I’ve been watching how both major parties politicians, House and Senate, are grabbing off all they can get instead of doing their elected jobs, and it finally dawns on me, why. Just now. This is partly why I blog, as digging into this stuff always makes things come clearer. They’re rats abandoning the ship, and they’re gorging themselves as much as possible before they jump off at their own safe harbor.

This is a bad sign, Folks. A real bad sign. Before, I just thought it was a mutual feeding frenzy before the Democrats take over again, but the Democrats are just as much into it as anyone else. They’re all doing it with utter disregard for their political futures. That’s a black omen of things soon to come. Gird your loins, kiddies. Load the old blunderbuss and stock up the pantry, I do believe Hell is coming to breakfast and the Devil is going to be hungry.

HOUSTON — A grand jury on Monday refused to indict a 62-year-old man who fatally shot two burglars last November as they fled his neighbor’s house.

Joe Horn saw two Columbian illegal aliens burglarizing his neighbors house. So first he called 911 and told them what was going down, and that he had a shotgun and was going to shoot and kill the burglars.

So he did. As they came running out of the house, Joe shot them both in the backs, using 3 rounds of 12 guage, double-ought buckshot to do the job. The illegal aliens both ran a few feet more, collapsed and died, their loot of $2000 cash and jewelry in pillowcases dropping to the ground along with the tire iron they used to break in with.

The Texas Penal Code allows the use of deadly force if the “actor reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary.” Deadly force can also be used to protect property when “the other is fleeing immediately after committing burglary.”

Since the Columbian illegal aliens were fleeing, he had a right to kill the sons of bitches. Naturally, some asshole Black Racist activists are trying to make a big racial issue out of it and get their names on TV by saying that a black would never have gotten away with that. We have a black man likely to be elected president, don’t we? Too bad it isn’t legal to shoot Black Racist whiners dead along with the burglars.

Also too bad Joe Horn doesn’t live across the street from me. I would love to have that guy for a neighbor.

ABC News: “The Justice Department has agreed to pay former Army scientist Dr. Steven Hatfill almost $6 million to settle his claims that the government violated his privacy rights during its investigation of the 2001 anthrax attacks.”

Remember Dr. Hatfill? He was the guy the FBI and every other Federal agency was pointing a finger at as being responsible for the anthrax that was sent out in the mails. Now he’s getting $6 million bucks of our tax money and deserves every penny.

Back a couple weeks before the anthrax B.S. started, I started hearing on the radio and T.V. that we were going to have anthrax attacks and I wondered, “How did they know?” This was shortly after 9/11, you may recall, and G. W. Bush was pushing hard for an invasion of Iraq.

Anyway, the fear bleat went on, like I said, for several weeks before anything happened, and the first person to receive actual anthrax spores in the mail was none other than Tom Daschle, who was G. W. Bush’s most outspoken critic at the time! Gee, whut an uhmazin coinkydink, hunnh?

Other envelopes of spores were sent out, people died, the “investigation” wandered from hill to dale around the country and was finally, so they claimed, tracked to a curbside mailbox in Princeton, New Jersey. Suddenly the search went cold at the very same time that it was quietly announced in a few small publications that the spores had been tested for DNA and the DNA of that particular batch of anthrax came from a United States military biological weapons lab. OOOPS! No more investigation, that was it, no further news releases ever again. The search for the source of the anthrax was abandoned.

Back to Dr. Hatfill … remember Dr. Hatfill? This is about Dr. Hatfill. All during this supposed search for the dirty rotten terrorist traitor type who was spreading anthrax around the country, this poor guy was singled out as THE “Person Of Interest”. He lost his job, in fact his career was destroyed, no one would hire him, Dr. Steven Hatfill went through Hell. This was about seven years ago and he’s been fighting to get his reputation restored ever since. Dr. Hatfill did in fact work in the field of biological agents for the military and he did work at Fort Detrick, MD, where the anthrax was eventually traced back to. He also had overstated his resume’ by one degree, a common practice, and because there’d been a number of hoax anthrax mailings in the US, he and SAIC  (backwards is CIA’s) V.P. Joseph Soukup commissioned William C Patrick, retired head of the old US bioweapons program (who had also been a mentor of Dr. Hatfill) to write a report on the possibilities of terrorist anthrax mailing attacks. This CIA sponsored report was a virtual blueprint for the anthrax mailings. Dr. Hatfill was expendable and they needed someone to blame.

“Dr. Hatfill got the Richard Jewell treatment, only worse. Jewell was the security guard at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics who spotted the knapsack bomb and moved people away before the explosion. Lacking a suspect, the FBI theorized that Jewell planted the bomb himself in order to gain attention by becoming a hero.

The FBI had no evidence whatsoever against Jewell, but neither ethics, professional integrity nor the lack of evidence prevented a steady stream of leaks to an obedient media insinuating that Jewell was the bomber.

The FBI was never held accountable for its abuse of power. Consequently, the FBI felt free to treat Dr. Hatfill more brutally. FBI agents told Dr. Hatfill’s fiancee and his associates that he was a murderer. FBI agents terrorized Dr. Hatfill’s fiancee and ransacked her apartment, hoping that fear would cause her to end her ordeal by going along with FBI charges against Dr. Hatfill.”

Isn’t that nice how our FBI sometimes guards our freedoms by terrorizing innocent citizens to force them to help put other innocent people in prison? Fortunately for Jewell, his attorneys were able to fight the FBI off and he ended up winning a variety of lawsuits and out-of-court settlements against various media. One Eric Robert Rudolph was later found to have been the bomber. Now it’s finally Dr. Steven Hatfills turn to be out from under the FBI’s thuggery.

The FBI has always worn a lot of masks. Most of the time they’re actually protecting us by rounding up criminals and breaking up their organizations, but sometimes they also use their power to do the often evil bidding of corrupt politicians.  Dr. Hatfill was in the wrong place at the right time. He fudged on his resume’, he was involved in the writing of a government report on the possibilities of terrorist anthrax mailing attacks. There is a possible finger of suspicion pointing at him except for that one important fact:

 The announcement nearly two weeks ahead of time by our government that anthrax attacks were imminent. How could they possibly have known unless the attacks were planned in advance to drum up support for the Iraq invasion?

Israel believes that Syria was planning to supply Iran with spent nuclear fuel for reprocessing into weapons-grade plutonium from the site it bombed last September, and which is currently being inspected by the UN’s nuclear watchdog.

That would be the IAEA, run by one Mohamad ElBaradei, a Muslim and Iran sympathizer. I have full confidence that the inspection of Syrias ruined nuclear processing plant will prove that it’s nothing more than a dog food factory, knowing how much Muslims adore dogs.

The claim from an adviser to Israel’s national security council, came yesterday as speculation mounts about a possible Israeli attack on Iran. The Israeli government officially backs UN sanctions to force Tehran to halt its uranium enrichment but has little faith they will succeed.

Details about the alleged Syrian reactor and the Israeli raid remain shrouded in secrecy. Syria denies it has or had a covert nuclear weapons programme and insists the Israelis hit an ordinary military structure being built at al-Kibar, in the country’s north-eastern desert.

The Israeli adviser told the Guardian: “The Iranians were involved in the Syrian programme. The idea was that the Syrians produce plutonium and the Iranians get their share. Syria had no reprocessing facility for the spent fuel. It’s not deduction alone that brings almost everyone to think that the link exists.”

Actually, it would be the height of gross stupidity to not know, let alone just think that the processed fuel was going to Iran. Clearly the Israelis know it, which is why they recently conducted a practice bombing raid on Iran, flying in the opposite direction but with a massive military operation along with full logistical support. I don’t think this was intended as a warning, since the Israelis actually seem to be very poor at issuing warnings. When threatened, they simply attack. They’re sensible about it.

Sooner or later war will break out between Israel and Iran and very possibly Syria. In the meantime, the dance music plays on. I don’t think we’ll know when the final number will play until it actually happens.

The U.N. nuclear watchdog chief, Mohamad ElBaradei, said a military strike on Iran would turn the Middle East into a fireball and prompt Tehran to launch a crash course to build nuclear weapons.

Crash course? They’re not at it already and haven’t been at it for years now? How could I have been so misled? You mean all this time, the Iranians have NOT been trying to build nukes to arm their ballistic missiles with? It’s all just a rumor?

If you want to hear assinine statements from Muslims, you don’t have to go far because they all pour it on, it seems to be part of being Islamic. Baradei is no different, braying like a jackass and with the same level of intelligence.

His statement came after The New York Times quoted U.S. officials as saying Israel had carried out a large military exercise which looked like a rehearsal for bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“A military strike, in my opinion, would be worse than anything,” International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general Mohamad ElBaradei told Al Arabiya television in an interview aired on Friday.

Oh my God! Worse than ANYTHING? Well, with a name like MOHAMAD, what do you expect? Isn’t that great? The U.N. nuclear watchdog is a Muslim, of course he sides with Iran and against Israel, and spreads dire warnings of terrible consequences if Iran is stopped from conducting a nuclear war against Israel. Especially if it’s the Israelis who do the stopping.

I said a long time ago that the U.N. building, which is situated on the most prime real estate in all Manhattan, would make wonderful condos. Refurbish the place into individual apartments and our government could sell them for millions of dollars each, and create shopping on the ground floor. We could probably pull a couple billion dollars out of that terrorist haven and clean up the quality of the neighborhood clientele in the bargain.

An international smuggling ring may have secretly shared blueprints for an advanced nuclear weapon with Iran, North Korea and other rogue countries, The Washington Post reported Sunday.

“May have”? They don’t know? Of course they know.

The now-defunct ring led by Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan is previously known to have sold bomb-related parts to Libya, Iran and North Korea. A draft report by former top U.N. arms inspector David Albright says the smugglers also acquired designs for building a more sophisticated compact nuclear device that could be fitted on a type of ballistic missile used by Iran and other developing countries, according to the Post.

The drawings were discovered in 2006 on computers owned by Swiss businessmen; they were recently destroyed by the Swiss government under the supervision of the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency to keep them out of terrorists’ hands. But U.N. officials said they couldn’t rule out that the material already had been shared.

“These advanced nuclear weapons designs may have long ago been sold off to some of the most treacherous regimes in the world,” Albright wrote in the draft report, which was expected to be published later this week, the Post reported.

This Pakistani nuclear scientist and top Pakistan government official was selling off nuclear bomb parts and design plans to all comers and the Pakistan government was raking in the dough from it. “May have shared”. Really. Sow the seeds of doubt to give us a false sense of security. Very nice. Meanwhile Iran is refining weapons grade plutonium to make these bombs which will be stuck at the ends of their already operational missiles, and when they have enough of them, they’ll use them.

You know, this is a lot like the days when Hitler and Tojo were building their war machines and the rest of us happy little freedom lovers were sitting there with our thumbs up our butts watching them. It was only after we were attacked that we finally took action, even though all our allies were getting the hell beat out of them. The next time around the attack is going to be nuclear unless we get off our thumbs and take action now.

We don’t want to be the first to use nukes. So we will wait until they’re used on us, and THEN we’ll use them. Knowing full well that the attack is coming, we will not make the pre-emptive strike that could prevent a full-blown world war. We didn’t do it last time and we won’t do it this time. Last time many millions of people all over the world died. This time it will be a hundred times more who will die. You know it. I know it. We all know it. We’re just waiting for it.

By now everyone is aware who was paying attention, that around 1000 or so Afghan criminals, and many of them Taliban, were busted out of an Afghan prison.

I’m trying to imagine that happening in any civilized country. In Britain, or France, or the U.S., and I can’t. What the Hell is the matter that they can’t provide adequate security to keep 1100 dangerous people locked up? The word is that four of our Marines were killed in the attack, which mostly killed Afghani police and prison guards.

Come on. Some 350 to 400 Taliban in there and no one thought there wouldn’t be an attack on the prison to free them? See, this is the same problem we’re having in Iraq and Pakistan. We train them to our more exacting standards, bring them up to snuff on the latest police tactics and advanced equipment, and what happens? Half of them turn out to be enemies that we’ve just trained to attack and defeat us and the other half let it go in one ear and out the other.

These people work well with each other. They do not work well with us. Why not? Because we aren’t Muslims, we’re invaders. All they want from us is what they can stuff into their pockets, and all they want to give us is the barest minimum they can get away with and still be allowed to hang out and stuff their pockets. These people have only tribal loyalties. They’ll never have even the loyalty of an employee to an employer and they’ll stab us in the backs at every opportunity.

The only way to deal with any of these countries is to either bomb them into oblivion or leave. If we want Osama, then ignore the Paki governments ineffectual protests and bomb the tribes out of existence until we’ve killed all the Taliban, all the Al Qaeda there, and all the supportive tribes. Same for Afghanistan and Iraq. Blow up entire cities and reduce them to charred rubble and ashes with not so much as a cockroach left alive, or else stop screwing around at the cost of American lives, and leave.

If we had taken no prisoners, there would not have been 350-400 Taliban in a prison, waiting to be freed. They would all be safely dead and buried.

Putting troops on the ground in any of those countries is just throwing our boys lives away. Fighting from building to building and street to street is plain stupid. We can wipe them out by the thousands simply by firebombing them and that’s what we should be doing if we want to win at the least cost in lives and fortune. It’s WAR! Act like it or go home.

Police have raided over a dozen properties across Germany in a major anti-terrorism operation. Their targets were radical Muslims who they suspect were wanting to wage jihad in Germany and abroad.

The raids were aimed at aimed at disrupting a network of Islamists who were allegedly trying to radicalize Germans and support jihad abroad.

Around 130 officers raided 16 homes, clubs and publishing houses in Berlin, Bonn, Leipzig, Sindelfingen, Neu-Ulm and Ulm early on Wednesday morning.

In a pan-European operation, police in France, Germany and the Netherlands have detained 10 men they suspect of financing a terror group in Uzbekistan. Some of the men are thought to have acted as couriers funneling cash to the jihadists.

Eight were seized in France, partly in areas close to the German border, one in Germany and a 10th man was held in Tilburg in the Netherlands. During the raids Dutch police searched three houses and confiscated a computer, documents, a CS gas pistol and a handgun magazine.

It is unknown at the moment whether all the arrested men are Turks. But most are definitely of Turkish origin, say sources in Germany’s security authorities. Some of them also had Western European passports.

When was the last time we’ve heard of any of the many Islamist, terrorist-connected groups here in the States, such as CAIR, the ACLU, ISNA, and the Islamic Education Center getting rousted? How about any terrorists at all?

Is our government avoiding any publicity about the tens of thousands of terrorists in our midst to keep us lulled into complacency? Is it possible that these saboteurs are being allowed to grow in strength unmolested so that we’ll think the Bush administration is doing a good job?

You’re damned right that’s what’s happening! Does anyone actually believe, if they give it only a moment of consideration, that there is no terrorist activity happening in this vast nation with its wide-open borders?

If we get Barack Islamist Mohammed Obama as our next president, then all I can say is, it’s a good thing I’m old and have lived most of my life already. I would hate like Hell to be young in the America that’s coming.

Those five Islamist murderers on trial at Guantanamo all want to plead guilty and be put to death, thereby becoming martyrs according to their death cult, Islam.

I have a better idea. It’s fairly common for judges to sentence people to odd punishments but ones that fit the crime, like having to spend an hour each day standing in front of a church wearing a tee shirt that says “I stole from this church”. Some sex offenders have to have a sign warning the public posted at the front of their residence.

So why not sentence these five to work for life at a prison pig farm, cleaning up after the pigs? Feed them pork products, fry their food in bacon grease, and guard them with large dogs to make sure they perform their tasks. Contact with both dogs and pigs are forbidden under Islam and it’s Islam that drove these scum to perform their crimes. Instead of becoming martyrs, glorifying themselves in their minds thinking that they’re going to be honored by their insane god Allah, they will see themselves as despised by Allah.

They don’t deserve martyrdom. To them it’s a reward instead of a punishment and I say, let the punishment fit the crime.

With our media constantly shoving Hussein up our butts, constantly denigrating Hillary Clinton, constantly telling us who to vote for, it’s no surprise that Hussein has the majority of delegates. This is further proof that fully one-half of Liberals have no brains, since it was about half of them who voted for the Muslim liar. So now we face the possibility of a Muslim liar and his America-hating, White-hating, outspokenly racist elitist pig of a wife becoming the next residents of the White House and having all that power in the most powerful nation on Earth.

It didn’t matter to half of all Democrats that this man has sat and listened for 20 years to sermons preaching hatred of America, hatred of Jews, hatred of Whites, allegiance to Africa, Black Values and a fondness for the Nation of Islam, and then said he never heard any of it.

It doesn’t matter to these blithering morons that his father, now dead, was a Fundamentalist Muslim, that his brother is a Fundamentalist Muslim and that his cousin, the infamous Raila Odinga, was recently responsible for the slaughter of over 1000 Kenyan Christians and the burning of their churches, wants to overthrow the Kenyan democracy and install Islamic Sharia law with it’s beheadings and amputations.

It doesn’t matter to these blind sheep that Obama went to Kenya and CAMPAIGNED for Raila Odinga in his bid to take over the government of Kenya.

It doesn’t matter to these Lefty La-La’s that Hussein has terrorists, criminals and racist preachers for his close friends. To them, it only matters that he’s black.

It certainly doesn’t matter to the media of this nation, who are pushing him into office for their own dark purposes.

Hillary Clinton, and you watch, is going to take this all the way to the convention. She’s not done trying for the nomination, and even tho our lying media says Hussein is the Dem. nominee, he is not. Not yet. He has to be voted in at the Dem. national convention to become the nominee, and who knows what may happen between now and then. Maybe he’ll be indicted as a co-conspirator with one of his crime buddies. Maybe he’ll be found out as having contributed to a terrorist organization. Anything could happen to yank him out of his silk suit and put him into a nice orange cotton jumpsuit.

I can easily see this thin-skinned Muslim liar becoming so over-confident that he commits a gaffe so huge that it ends things for him, like the Dean Scream that put an abrupt end to Howard Deans presidential ambitions or Ted Kennedy’s manslaughter of Mary Jo Kopechne.

I don’t endorse any of them, including McCain and Clinton. Don’t get me wrong. I’m just saying to all you who jumped on the Obama bandwagon, look at how easily you’ve been led, look at how easily you’ve been seduced. You have been told to ignore all the evil in this mans life and you did exactly that.

Ex-president and obvious anti-Semite Jimmy Carter is at it again. At a London press conference over the Memorial Day weekend, Carter described Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip as “one of the greatest human rights crimes now existing on Earth” and said that the European Union’s failure to support the Palestinian cause was “embarrassing”.

He was responding to a question about the level of threat posed by Iran to Israel, and had prefaced the above gushing expression of his dhimmitude by saying that Israel has “150 or more” nuclear weapons, “the US has more than 12,000 nuclear weapons, the Soviet Union (sic) has about the same; Great Britain and France have several hundred, and Israel has 150 or more.” “We have a phalanx of enormous weaponry, not only of enormous weaponry, but of rockets to deliver those missiles on a pinpoint accuracy target.”

This apparently was meant to imply that Iran’s possession of nuclear bombs would be minor in comparison and therefor not worth worrying about, even though Iran has sworn to wipe the state of Israel entirely off the Middle Eastern map.

Why Mr. Carter insists on exposing his hatred for Israel to the world, I have no idea, but I sure wish this former leader of our nation would shut up about it. He thinks the refusal of the E.U. to support the cause of the terrorist regimes of Palestine is embarrassing? Only to him. His support of terrorists is extremely embarrassing to America and all Americans and I dearly wish he would SHUT THE HELL UP!

The state of our current political morass is at least as embarrassing as Jimmy Carter’s non-stop mouth, and these paragraphs from a Black Star News article sum it up eloquently:

“While it is true that our current condition is primarily due to Republican greed, shortsightedness, and ineptitude, it is also true that we find ourselves in this condition as a result of the total impotence of the Democratic Party. Democratic politicians have been absolutely gutless for the past seven years. Instead of fighting for the soul of this nation and the ideals they profess to believe in, Democrats have been basing their actions on the direction of the wind; and instead of standing up for what was in the best interest of the nation, they were cowering in the basement on Capitol Hill, desperately trying to protect their own political careers.

But now that the Republican Party has all but self-destructed, the Democrats have chosen this moment to come strutting out to tell us all they want to do to protect our interest. Where were they before the Republican Party all but dropped dead of gluttony? If the Republican Party is indeed in the throes of death, it’s only resulting from Democrats allowing them to gorge themselves to death. And even now, the Democrats don’t have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to two egomaniacal Republicrats, (a reference to Bill and Hillary) as they wreak havoc within the Democrats’ own ranks.”

Carter is only one loose piece of the total fragmentation of our political leadership. There is no longer any cohesion among our government leaders. Just as the above article points out, they’re all out for themselves instead of uniting in the interests of their nation. None of them are putting America first, making the betterment of America their common goal. Instead they all bicker and feud and backstab, jockeying for power and chunks of pork.

It’s embarrassing.

Despite his call for the U.S. to win the “hearts and minds of the Islamic world,” Sen. John McCain recruited the support of an evangelical minister who describes Islam as “anti-Christ” and Mohammed as “the mouthpiece of a conspiracy of spiritual evil.”

McCain sought the support of Pastor Rod Parsley of the World Harvest Church of Columbus, Ohio who he described as “one of the truly great leaders in America, a moral compass, a spiritual guide”, hopefully because of Parsley’s well-established denunciations of the Islamic faith in a book “Silent No More” and on DVDs of sermons about Islam, rather than in spite of them.

This could change my whole view of John McCain. If he’s sincere about battling Islam, this would be great news indeed. George Bush Junior likes to hold hands with King Abdullah and have him stay at the Texas ranch, while King Abdullah pours billions into the perversion and subjugation of America to Islam, corrupting our schools and building mosques all over Hell and gone.

“Islam is an anti-Christ religion that intends through violence to conquer the world,” Parsley says on the DVDs reviewed by ABC News.

Parsley’s views and his connection to the McCain campaign are now beginning to show up on Arab Web sites and newspapers.

Al Moheet, a regional Arabic Web site operating in Egypt, carries the story with a picture of McCain and the headline: “McCain’s Spiritual Adviser Calls for the Destruction of Islam.” McCain has repeatedly urged the U.S. to show respect for Islam. “Our goal must be to win the ‘hearts and minds’ of the vast majority of moderate Muslims who do not want their future controlled by a minority of violent extremists,” McCain told the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles on March 26.

Whether this is just political blather or not is the problem here. If McCain would stand up and say that he agrees with the pastor, that would make all the difference in the world. As it is now, all the worlds muslims already see him as an enemy and his “hearts and minds” crap is just that. Crap, and they know it. The minister is clear that there are no “moderate” muslims, as I’ve been saying for years, and McCain needs to take a stand on this issue instead of letting some minister dodge flak for him.

The most likely possibility here is that McCain simply used Rev. Parsley back when he was still campaigning in Ohio, to gain an edge over Huckabee and his religious posturing. I say most likely because the only mention of Parsley since is in the Arab media, where they’re still frothing over his accurate depiction of their evil cult.

Things like this are why I have my doubts. “Just a week ago, John McCain decried the decision to legalize gay marriage in California. Today you can catch him on TV chatting with Ellen DeGeneres, America’s foremost lesbian entertainer who within hours of the landmark ruling announced on air that she would marry her partner.”

“I wish her every happiness”, “She’s very popular. I’m a big fan of her and her show,” McCain said. Oh my God, John, you suck-ass son of a bitch.

McCain keeps coming off as just one more two-faced jerk politician. The only issue he’s been even halfway consistent on is staying in Iraq. Considering what that assinine war has done to wreck our economy and unite the goddam worlds muslims against us, that’s not politically very bright. The plain truth is that if you don’t mess with a hornets nest, the hornets won’t mess with you. Bin Laden and his band of Al Qaeda was not the whole Islamic world, and if we’d gone after him and only him, things would have been hokey dokey with the muslims. But Nooo, Bush saw the opportunity to make a try for Iraqs oil, blew it off, won’t admit his failure, and McCain wants to continue what was a bad effort to begin with.

It’s this sort of thing that has me preferring Clinton. At least, with her, the economy would be back on track and we’d be out of Iraq. None of them is my “best choice”. That’s Ron Paul.

The Chicago-based Tribune Co. is reporting that Tribune owned Newsday has reached an “agreement in principle” to sell the Long Island based newspaper to Rupert Murdoch owned News Corp for $580 million.

New York has a little something called “media ownership issues,” which “could restrict the number of properties…Murdoch could own in the New York Area”. I certainly hope so. Enough is enough.

This wrinkled up old f**k is 77 years old and thinks he’s going to live forever. His goal in life is to control every word we see and hear on TV, radio and in print and on the Internet. Seriously. That’s what he’s after and makes no secret of it. To what egomaniacal purpose, who the Hell knows? No wonder the planet is so screwed up.

An 84 year old Jewish guy, speaking of older types, has been arrested for passing military secrets to Israel back in the 1980’s, including nuclear weaponry, the F-15 fighter jet program and the U.S. Patriot missile defense system. So now he’s going to be prosecuted.

I have a better idea. Deport him to Israel where he can live out the rest of his days as the National Hero that he is. We should have been giving Israel the info anyway and we probably did but don’t want to admit it because our military is so paranoid.

This happened in 1985, 23 years ago. There’s no statute of limitations on this? I always thought that just applied to murder. Give an old spy a break.

Hugo Chavez, the Benito Mussolini of Venezuela, is yelling about soaring food prices, calling them a “massacre” of the world’s poor that are creating a global nutritional crisis. “It is a true massacre what is happening in the world,” Chavez said in a televised speech, citing U.N. statistics about deaths caused by hunger and malnourishment.

His comments came only hours after the United Nations’ World Food Program called more expensive food a “silent tsunami” that threatens to plunge more than 100 million people on every continent into hunger. “The problem is not the production of food … it is the economic, social and political model of the world. The capitalist model is in crisis.”

Well, he’s not a stupid man even if he looks it, and even tho he’s a communist, he’s right on all counts about the food crisis and its cause. Where he goes overboard is in saying that capitalism is in crisis. Nope. Not. What’s in crisis are all those people making about a dollar a day or less who are starving as I type. About 100 million of them and more on the way as food prices continue to rise way faster than wages.

My money is on the starvation deaths of 500 million, that’s 1/2 Billion dead people in the next 3 years. Any takers? I’ll give you odds….

From the U.K. “New Statesman”: “World cereal stocks are at an all-time low, food-aid programmes have run out of money and millions face starvation. Yet wealthy countries persist with plans to use grain for petrol. The U.K.’s Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation introduced on 15 April, mandates petrol retailers to mix 2.5 per cent biofuels into fuel sold to motorists. This will rise to 5.75 per cent by 2010.”

The concern is legitimate as biofuel from corn has proven to be very inefficient. The end cost is actually higher per gallon than gasoline.

Using our farmland to make ethanol instead of food is only a small part of the problem. There are other threats, such as wheat rust. A strain named Ug99 emerged in Africa in 1999. Despite containment efforts, winds carried spores to the bread baskets of the Middle East. It is now poised to infect prime wheat growing regions in Europe, Ukraine, Russia, India and Pakistan.

Should even one major wheat producer have a crop failure, the effect on the world’s ability to feed itself would be immense, which explains why crash programs to develop new rust resistant strains are now underway.

However, if Ug99 spreads swiftly, devastating crops before science can breed resistant strains, already grave food security problems will expand. So this isn’t simply a distant problem for poor nations, it looms over rich ones like Canada and the United States, too.

World Bank president Robert Zoellick has bluntly warned the world’s richest countries that a potential planetary catastrophe is unfolding with frightening speed. Jacques Diouf, head of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, warns that with 37 countries are already in crisis and each day brings greater risk of global famine. India’s finance minister was more direct. “It is becoming starker by the day,” Palaniappan Chidambaram said. “Unless we act fast for a global consensus on the price spiral, the social unrest induced by food prices in several countries will conflagrate into a global contagion, leaving no country — developed or otherwise — unscathed.”

The consequences for the world’s poor are brutal: we drive, they starve. The mass diversion of grain harvests into ethanol plants for fuel is reaching its political and moral limits.

The UN says it takes 232 kilograms of corn to fill a 50-litre (about 13 gallons) car tank with ethanol. That is enough to feed a child for a year. Last week, the UN predicted “massacres” unless the biofuel policy is halted.

Biofuels is one cause, but just one. The reason for food “shortages” is speculation in commodity futures following the collapse of the credit markets. Needing quick returns to offset the huge loan losses, dealers are taking trillions of dollars out of equities and mortgage bonds and ploughing them into food and raw materials. It’s called the “commodities super-cycle” on Wall Street, and it is likely to cause starvation on an epic scale because this competition is massively driving up prices.

The rocketing price of wheat, soybeans, sugar, coffee - you name it - is a direct result of debt defaults that have caused financial panic in the west and encouraged investors to seek “stores of value”. These range from gold and oil at one end to corn, cocoa and cattle at the other; speculators are even placing bets on water prices.

This is a bubble to end all bubbles and one that can only burst with the deaths of millions of people through starvation. The price of oil is not going to come down because the Arabs and Russians and Venezuelans, etcetera, are glorying in the huge rush of wealth. Oil drives food production. Commodities speculation and investment drive up prices right along with oil increases, which show no sign of stopping.

Profit-taking may doom the 2.8 billion people who live on less than $2 a day, almost half the world’s population, to pay for these profits with their lives, and long before then there will be wars.

When mass starvation sets in, which it will, disease controls and any efforts at sanitation will fall apart and plagues will roam the planet like they’ve always done in times like these.

The rise of Islam is going to have to take a back seat to global starvation. I don’t think all those super-rich sheiks in Dubai are going to open their purses to feed the starving masses of muslims, nor the Saudis, either, as their dreams of a new global Caliphate come crashing down when hundreds of millions of muslims begin starving to death.

They will, because the truth is that the countries that have been taken over by Islam are the most backward, worst managed and poorest in all the world, except for those that have oil reserves, and those people will be the first to starve. In Darfur, for example, it is muslims who are killing off all the Christians in order to Islamize the country, and in the process they are killing all the farmers who’ve been providing them with food. Those who still survive are without work or income and surviving in camps off what little charity they can get.

In the sprawling slum of Haiti’s Cité Soleil, Placide Simone, 29, offered one of her five offspring to a stranger. “Take one,” she said, cradling a listless baby and motioning toward four rail-thin toddlers, none of whom had eaten that day. “You pick. Just feed them.”

Mother Nature always seeks a balance, and she always finds it. Most people in the “Have” nations will survive. In fact, they’ll hardly notice all the starvation while most of those in the “Have Not” nations die. Between the grain shortage, rising oil prices, increasing inflation and wars and pending wars, we are hurtling over the brink.

PARIS (Reuters) - French former film star Brigitte Bardot went on trial on Tuesday for insulting Muslims, the fifth time she has faced the charge of “inciting racial hatred” over her controversial remarks about Islam and its followers.

Prosecutors asked that the Paris court hand the 73-year-old former sex symbol a two-month suspended prison sentence and fine her 15,000 euros ($23,760) for saying the Muslim community was “destroying our country and imposing its acts”.

Since retiring from the film industry in the 1970s, Bardot has become a prominent animal rights activist but she has also courted controversy by denouncing Muslim traditions and immigration from predominantly Muslim countries.

She has been fined four times for inciting racial hatred since 1997, at first 1,500 euros and most recently 5,000.

“I am fed up with being under the thumb of this population which is destroying us, destroying our country and imposing its acts,” the star of ‘And God created woman’ and ‘Contempt’ said.

She’s absolutely correct. The woman should be considered a hero, but instead she’s being prosecuted for saying what she thinks instead of kissing muslim ass like the simpering appeasers in her government. Every time I think the French are finally growing some hair, they prove me wrong. “Inciting racial hatred”. Since when did a fascist creed become a race? Muslims are white, black and all colors in between.

The muslims in France, meanwhile, can riot and loot and burn cars literally by the 1000’s, and be called “angry youths”. Their preachers can exhort them to kill every non-muslim they can find, and demand that the government of France give muslims special treatment that ordinary French citizens don’t get, and the French murmur apologies and meekly comply. But be prosecuted for tromping all over the laws and rights of French ciitizens? No. The government of France is such a cadre of cowards that instead they go after a 73-year-old faded movie star who has more courage than all those politicians put together, to show their muslim bullies that they’re being dutifully compliant.

A federal agency has authorized the killing of up to 85 California sea lions that prey on migrating salmon and steelhead at the base of Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River. Sea lions are wiping out the salmon returning to the rivers to spawn, as they only take one bite out of the salmons bellies where all the fish’s fat is deposited. They just want the fat, not the meat, and of course the injury kills the fish. A full grown sea lion is a huge animal which will kill many 100’s of salmon daily.

So now The Humane Society of the United States wants a federal judge to head off the capturing or killing of the salmon-eating sea lions at Bonneville Dam in the Columbia River, no doubt figuring that live sea lions are better to have around than 1000’s of dead salmon rotting in our drinking water. It said a much larger-than-normal run is predicted this year and that the quota for fishermen has been raised by 33 percent.

What? Where do they get that? Are they nuts? No it isn’t. No it hasn’t. The salmon season has just been closed down along the entire Western coast from California to mid-Oregon because of this!

So I have this suggestion for the Humane Society: Go ahead and let the sea lions wipe out the Columbia River salmon entirely. Then all those sea lions will starve to death in slow agony.

They will. No food, no eat. You dumb bastards.

Then after all the sea lions are dead and gone, we can re-plant the Columbia with baby salmon, and we won’t have to deal with morons like you in the managing of our wildlife, since you only care about furry animals and clearly don’t give a hoot in Hell about us or the fish.

All animals eat and multiply to the limit of their food supply. When they overpopulate, there’s a die-off.

Sea otters eat shellfish and have really nice fur. For a long time they were hunted for their fur until they nearly became extinct, but in the meantime the shellfish industry swelled and thrived. Then it became illegal to kill even one sea otter and now the shellfish industry is wiped out by the sea otters, which then died off and now there are exactly enough otters to eat exactly enough shellfish with none left over for us. When was the last time you enjoyed a plate of abalone strips?

If we did a yearly cull of sea lions and sea otters, the animals would keep a balanced population and we could share in the oceans bounty instead of letting them eat it all.

These excuses for young adults videotaped their kidnapping and revenge beating of 16 year old Victoria Lindsay, who apparently “trash-talked” the others online. Then these geniuses posted the video on MySpace and YouTube. She suffered a concussion, permanent hearing loss in her left ear and blurred vision in her left eye.

The parents of these young monsters are making it very clear why their kids act that way. “Look at their ages, they’re not adults,” said Christina Garcia, the mother of Mercades Nichols. “They still have a teenage mentality.” Garcia has denied that her daughter beat Lindsay even though it’s on videotape.

Lindsay (the victim) “embarrassed these girls,” Garcia told News Channel 8 on Sunday. “She said she was going to kick their you-know-what’s,” and called them “slutty.”

Oh. Well sure, then. Any 16 year old girl who says things like that deserves to be imprisoned and beaten senseless for over a half hour and suffer permanent injury. With a mother as stupid and selfish as Christina Garcia is, it’s no wonder her daughter is a callous, vicious monster.

“Grady Judd (the Polk County sheriff) is a big showboater,” said Robert Schumaker, the father of Stephen Schumaker. “He’s got this blown out of proportion.” Earlier, Robert Schumaker had denied his son’s involvement, saying neighbors told the Schumakers that Stephen and Zachary Ashley were not at the house acting as lookouts.

What? Did he just apologize for his sons help in brutalizing that girl? No? I’m mistaken? Well why the Hell didn’t he, then?

Brittini Hardcastle’s grandfather, Charles Platt, said his granddaughter gave a different version of events than Lindsay did.

Therefor Lindsay, the victim, is lying?

Not one of the parents of any of these eight miserable excuses for young Americans has made the slightest sound of apology that I’ve heard of yet. All that’s coming out of them is denial. When these kids were arrested, they were laughing in the holding cell and one of the girls was asking if this was going to make her late to cheerleader practice. They showed no concern for the seriousness of their acts.

I know that most kids don’t behave like this. I know that most kids aren’t that socially maladjusted and dysfunctional, but some are. Some take guns to school and kill everyone they can shoot.

This isn’t some new phenomenon, or a “sign of the times”, the result of violence on TV and blah blah blah. Kids have been doing rotten stuff and ganging up on others since forever. The difference is that the victims of these bullies are finally getting some justice instead of being told that “it’s part of growing up”. If getting beat up by bullies is part of growing up, then being prosecuted for bullying should be, as well.

The reason bullies have been getting away with it is because we let them. It’s a simple proposition that when kids know a harsh penalty is certain to follow such behavior, they’ll turn aside and unclench their fists whether they want to or not.

I’m glad to see this prosecution. Maybe we’re finally becoming a truly civilized society? It would be kinda nice for a change to see us protecting our kids from each other instead of letting them brutalize each other and calling it “part of growing up”.

Well, They Are Famous For Their Terrible Cuisine so it should come as no surprise that the UK is serving up a lot of Fresh Hot Crow to their oppressed citizens. The latest meal is the presence of 30 Chinese paramilitary elite thugs who made sure no one got near the Olympic torch as it was carried through London, and they did so by brutally attacking anyone who came too close.

This obscene degrading of British national sovereignty was apparently set up by Scotland Yard, with the Chinese thugs having been allowed into the UK under “tourist” visas.

Kudos to the British people though: The Daily Telegraph has learnt that organisers, including Chinese officials, discussed “pulling out” of the day-long relay after just a few hours, as police fought running battles with wave after wave of anti-China protesters.

Kevin Rudd, the Australian Prime Minister, warned Beijing yesterday that he would not allow the Chinese thugs to guard the Olympic torch when it is carried through Canberra this month. He said that their behavior would not be repeated in his capital.

“All security, repeat all security, is provided by Australians,” he told The Times during a visit to London. The Olympic torch is due to be carried through Canberra on April 24 and is likely to attract anti-Chinese demonstrations similar to those seen in London, Paris and this morning in San Francisco.

The beginning of the relay in San Francisco is hours away as I write this, and I can find no mention of the possible participation of the Chinese thugs. There will be a two-and-a-half-hour relay along this city’s waterfront, involving six miles of pavement, 79 runners and untold scores of law enforcement officials.

Major protests by those upset with China’s human rights record and recent crackdown in Tibet are expected and even supported by the city’s Board of Supervisors, which voted on April 1 to condemn China’s human rights record. Chris Daly, the supervisor who wrote the resolution, went further on Monday, posting a blog entry calling on followers to “build on the message that’s been delivered” in Paris and London. That’s pretty straightforward and has upset the Chinese no end.

The San Francisco Police Department canceled days off for patrol officers and called in state and federal agencies and officers from nearby cities to help patrol the relay route. A no-fly zone was established overhead, the Coast Guard beefed up its fleet and Bay Area police planned on a pair of motorized water scooters patrolling the waterways. It’s going to look like a war zone instead of the celebration it’s always been before.

“I can only confirm that the route is dynamic,” said Nathan Ballard, a city spokesman. “We got monks tomorrow, Desmond Tutu and Richard Gere here today, and a nude torch relay in the works,” he said, “And I have no hope of leaving here without tripping over hundreds of members of the foreign media. I’ll tell you one thing: it won’t be boring.”

Yep. A nude torch relay. Only in San Francisco would you expect to see some of the torch bearers running NAKED! Wah hah hah, I wonder how China will like that?

Well, unlike England, San Francisco is famous for its fine cuisine. It’s going to be fascinating as all Hell to watch what they dish up today.

The chief of U.N. humanitarian operations, John Holmes, said Tuesday that poor people around the world are facing worsening hardship because of the expense of food. He said food prices had risen an average of 40 percent over the last year.

“The security implications should also not be underestimated as food riots are already being reported across the globe,” Holmes said during a conference in Dubai. “Compounding the challenges of climate change in what some have labeled the perfect storm are the recent dramatic trends in soaring food and fuel prices.”

MAHALLA EL-KOBRA, Egypt (AP) — “Egypt rushed Tuesday to grant bonuses to workers after two days of deadly riots over high food prices and low wages wracked this northern industrial city, fueling government fears that economic angst might boil over across the country. Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif hurried to Mahalla al-Kobra on Tuesday with several top economic ministers to meet with workers at the 50-year-old, state-owned Misr Spinning and Weaving factory complex that employs 25,000 people and announced they would receive a bonus of 30 days’ pay and promised to address their demands for better health care and higher wages.

30 days pay is $34. The average Egyptian worker is desperately poor and is the head of a family of 5. Food prices have risen 40% in Egypt and world-wide over the past year. You can’t afford tires on a bicycle on $34 a month.

A top United Nations official warned that many poor nations are in danger of such unrest as inflation heats up around the globe.

Unrest? You mean food riots that sweep away entire governments? Open warfare between government soldiers and police, and the population at large? Widespread famine, and the raging disease epidemics that go with it? The return of Bubonic Plague to Africa, plus Cholera and Dysentery and God knows what other filth-borne, insect-borne, rat-carried diseases?

I’d posted on this looming future sometime ago, maybe a year or more, I forget now. It was easy to see it coming then and now everybody gets it.

This isn’t entirely due to population increases or changing global weather conditions. In fact their contribution is small and not very significant. The shortage of food is due mostly to its rising cost combined with the switch of millions of farm acres to methanol production, and hoarding.

The huge increase in oil from $20 a barrel to $108 currently drives up food production costs. Much of the fertilizer is a byproduct of petroleum. The farm machines run on it, the food is harvested and transported and packaged and preserved using petroleum products.

Food producers, rice, wheat, corn and soy, are hoarding these products against higher prices as the market futures spiral up, thus creating an additional shortage.

This level of greed is foolish and these people are going to lose it all when the starving population rips open their doors and carries off the bags of grain, leaving a lot of dead bodies behind who will never run this business again. That means no more food distribution at all, which means a rapid increase in mass starvation and no nation will step in to help.

Why not? Because there will simply be too much of it going on to cope with. The price of oil needs to come down to no more than $50 a barrel immediately. Fat chance in Hell. The corn/methanol farmers need to switch back to food corn. A lot of them are, in fact, doing this and others are switching over to soy beans, an excellent food source, and the hoarders need to open up their warehouses and start selling their stock at fair prices. Unlikely but who knows, after the first few warehouse raids, perhaps the rest will wake up.

Otherwise, those hoofbeats are going to get awful loud. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. War, Famine, Plague and Death are on the road now and now, anyone can see it.

The Chinese have murdered over 1 million innocent Tibetans, destroyed most of their places of worship, and are still doing their worst to stomp the Tibetan culture into non-existence. The idea of Chinese happiness is for everyone in the world to do exactly what a few fat, evil little old men tell them.

The Chinese have been murdering people by the tens of millions ever since the Peoples Republic of China came into being, and they’re not slowing down. The Chinese excel in repression, forcing any citizen who dares to complain into forced labor slavery. A prison sentence in China doesn’t mean you sit in a cell. It means you are worked hard and fed little, and many of the products from China that we’re consuming were made by slaves. People locked up in prison factories for wanting freedom.

It’s an acute embarrassment to America that our uncaring president, George Bush, supports the Chinese Olympics, when Germany, France, Amnesty International, (who have helped Free American Prisoners,) and many politicians and world leaders have spoken out against the Chinese hosting of the Olympics.

British athletes are now told they must sign away their Free Speech rights if they want to join the games in China, by agreeing to a “No Criticism” contract promising not to speak out about China’s appalling human rights record – or face being banned from travelling to Beijing.

1000’s of pet cats are being killed off by the Chinese government to “clean up” Beijings streets before the Olympics. Crammed into cages too small to turn around in, the Chinese authorities show their usual compassion toward pets and their owners, as the cats are rolled off to their deaths.

Power and arrogance go together, and arrogance kills compassion. If we have enough compassion to care about the treatment of our meat animals, then we have enough to care about us, too. The human race has been practicing slavery for far too long and those of us who honestly believe in freedom have to stand up and say so. It’s simple enough, just don’t help them. Don’t buy any cutsie little Olympic buttons or toys or other Made in China crap. Speak out against them even if it’s just to your neighbors and the local store clerks.

Avoid food and toys and clothes made in China. Read the label. Buy made in Cuba stuff, those poor people can use the money. Made in the Philippines, made in Denmark. Especially Made in Denmark, they’re getting boycotted by the muslims over cartoons!

We Americans have a huge hammer, and it’s called Buying Power. With our Buying Power we can bring nations to their knees, even a nation like China. It’s our Buying Power that brought them all their prosperity. Now they think they own us and shower us with their arrogance.

Let’s teach them a little lesson in humility. It’s past time we did so.
