Maybe It’s Just A Costume Party

Obama toga
What’s the big deal here? Obama went to Kenya in 2006 and posed for pictures dressed in native garb. Village elder garb, actually.

Now he’s acting ashamed of it and calling the Clinton camp “despicable”, claiming that they released it. Well, what if they did? If Hillary or Bill were in the same suit, their picture would be on magazine front pages. What are Obama and all the Hillary Haters upset about?

My only guess is that maybe they think it makes Obama look like an African. Well, he is half African, he’s a member of a Kenyan tribe, the Luos, and his brother is full African. I still don’t see the problem. What I think is happening here is that his strategists are looking for any possible way to make Hillary look racist and mean, and the Obamaniacs are bleating like sheep without thinking it over first.

Because if they really did think it over, they’d be saying how cool he looks in that get-up, not agreeing with him that he looks shameful, thereby hurting their candidate. I can see their point though. Guys with Islamic backgrounds named Hussein who run for president in our post 9/11 world would be better off not wearing turbans.

Blinky, blinky, time to wake up.
