Years ago I posted an article here titled MEXICO SUCKS. Mexico still sucks.

The U.S. Department of State issued a travel warning Tuesday for Americans traveling to certain parts of Mexico.

The advisory cautions citizens to avoid traveling to certain locations due to increased criminal activity.

Areas such as Baja California Sur, where the popular tourist destination Cabo San Lucas is, and Quintana Roo, where Cancun and Riviera Maya are located, have seen a spike in homicide rates this year.

“U.S. citizens have been the victims of violent crimes, including homicide, kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery in various Mexican states,” the travel advisory states, and that “gun battles between rival criminal organizations or with Mexican authorities have taken place on streets and in public places during broad daylight,”.

So if you’re looking for some real adventure, oh yeah, go tripping off to the failed state of Mexico where if the banditos don’t rob, rape and kill you, no problemo, senor, don’t worry, because the Policia will.

Running out of places to holiday here too. Nobody sensible wants to go to Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco etc. anymore due to all the terrorism and the damn migrants. Now there’s a big backlash against foreign tourists in popular places in Spain, Italy etc. Think I’ll just holiday on my compost heap next time.

I’ve been to Cancun, went mostly to see the ruins, stayed awhile on Isla Cozumel, which was nice, and quiet.

Been sport fishing to Cabo a few times but the last time, the local harbormaster took umbrage with me. I know why, he thought I was making a rude gesture at him when I was actually gesturing to the friend I was there with. Long story short, we barely escaped from a pickup truck loaded with police armed with rifles. Seriously. That’s what happens when the Mexican In Charge thinks you dissed him. We never went back, screw those bastards.
