NB 1.8.1 is the name, if you can call it that, for the latest C.O.V.I.D. (Corona Virus Disease, also known as Influenza) strain coming our way courtesy of China, according to someone named Mario Nawfal on X (also known as Twitter).
He posts that “It is spreading fast in China Hong Kong and Thailand. Hospital visits for severe breathing issues have doubled in China in a month. Hong Kong just hit its highest positive rate in a year at over 13 percent. Taiwan’s ER admissions for Covid have jumped 78 percent in a week.”
Let’s not forget that the last time we were told to be very, very afraid, it was the Flu season, yet strangely, no deaths were reported that year for the Flu when normally there’s at least 40,000 per Flu season. No, no, they were all Covid. Trust us, no, really, all Covid. And actually this is true, the Flu is a corona virus disease, easily cured with a few doses of Ivermectin, which, strangely, we were told didn’t work by our government. Only the mRNA shots would save us.
I was among the roughly 27% of Americans who saw through this pile of bullcrap and didn’t get the Jab. Instead I took the advice of a few brave and honest doctors and bought Ivermectin for horses on Amazon and I still take a dose of it once every month and simultaneously stopped getting the yearly flu vaccine. Strangely, I haven’t had a single sick day since. No Flu or other form of covid virus.
Cowardly disclaimer, just in case: I’m not a doctor, of medicine anyway, and not prescribing Ivermectin for anyone, I’m just relating my personal experiences with it which I now read is curing various forms of literally end-stage cancer.
Or you could spell it Balochistan. One of the many stans, but no relation to Stan Freburg. Located between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
I never heard of the place until it suddenly reared it’s head and said “I quit” and split off from Pakistan yesterday, taking about half of Pakistan with it. The story is that the Pakis stole Balochistan about the same time they stole a chunk of Kashmir. Annexed them both whether they wanted to be annexed or not, which they didn’t.
They’ve been fighting a guerilla war with Pakistan for years, and finally grew strong enough to declare their independence, no doubt taking advantage of the war brewing between Pakistan and India.
So now the Pakis have two fights to deal with instead of one, and the Chinese are demanding repayment of a pretty massive debt owed them by Pakistan for all the infrastructure they built there because the Chinese are in a deepening hole of their own, economically.
Balochistan is about the size of Germany. Why is it always these little nations that fire off the big wars? I’ve got a “here we go again” feeling about this.
Last post I ended with asking what’s next. Well, here it is. Those insane, oil-rich Arabs in Dubai found a new way to waste money and endanger the planet. They plan to drag a large asteroid into near-Earth stationary orbit over Dubai and attach a mass of cables to it that will be used to support a skyscraper that will hang from the cables. They’re calling it a “Spacescraper”.
The weight of the “spacescraper” will have to be constantly balanced against the speed of the asteroid, which must increase to generate more outward pull as the building’s increasing weight from construction and then habitation pulls more and more toward the Earth. In the short term, small increases will show little effect but over the long term, this is cumulative.
The more weight increase of the building, the more stress on the cables, which will also be used as a “space elevator” to move freight up to orbital height. A principle of this is that at the midpoint of the cable, objects on the elevator will stop being pulled downward by gravity and as they move farther up the cable they’ll be pulled outward by centrifugal force and will need to be braked. This braking action can be used to generate electric power that can be stored and applied to the lifting motors, making this not self-sustaining but partially so.
I read about this in my youth, it was expounded on by one of the great Sci-fi writers at the time, Bradbury or Asimov, I think.
Now, the Big Problem with this plan is that one of maintaining a balance between the pull toward Earth of the building and all that cable, and the pull outward of the asteroid. What will be the critical point of inward or outward motion before it’s too late to correct it? Because there will be one if this is built.
There’s a lot of junk out there in low orbit, what if something hit just one of the cables? This is an easy scenario. The load absorbed by that cable is now transferred to the rest of them. They should be built to take it and more, but what if a bunch of them were sheared? Down comes the building, away flies the asteroid, in an outward orbit that everyone hopes doesn’t bring it back to us.
What would be the magnitude of the disaster if the asteroid crashes into the Earth? Could it become an Extinction Event? If it pulled away from Earth, the thousands of people in that building would get a fine view of the blackness of space before the vacuum killed them all.
But what a fine place to leap to your death from, to be the first to commit suicide this way. Someone will, others will follow suit, how do they keep the corpses from splattering all over the people below? What about people throwing things out the windows, it’s a long way down, it would be like bombs going off when things hit the sidewalk.
There’s a limit to what we should allow each other to do to attract attention to ourselves and one-up each other, and I think they found it. When people have themselves surgically mutilated to look like cats or devils, that’s one thing, it doesn’t threaten the rest of us, but when they start moving huge asteroids into near-Earth orbit, they need to limit it to mining purposes because the more that’s taken away from their space rock the farther away from us it will move, in it’s orbit. It’s inevitable that with this, it will keep coming closer unless something severs the cables.
A space elevator, if now achievable with advanced high-tensile-strength materials, would be a wonderful thing and you wouldn’t need a giant asteroid to counter-balance it that would threaten all humanity. A small, much safer one would do just fine, with a device to sever the cable close to the asteroid, just in case. One you can dangle a huge skyscraper from is just plain nuts.
“All living beings emit a strange glow linked to vitality that vanishes when they die, according to a new study that may lead to a powerful new tool for medical diagnosis.
Life forms are essentially complex biochemical labs in which metabolism fuels life-sustaining processes.
A byproduct of this metabolism is a group of highly reactive oxygen-containing molecules called reactive oxygen species, or ROS.
Excess ROS production may lead to what is known as oxidative stress, which induces electron transfer processes between chemicals in the body linked to the glow, researchers from the University of Calgary in Canada said.”
That living things have a glow has been known since ancient times because there’s always been those who could see it and describe it. Auras indicate the health of a person as well as their mental state. Most of us lump auras in with “chakras”, “crystal power” and all that other oowah crap, but in this case it’s factual, no spirit beings or planetary alignments, just the faintest of glows.
It sounds like some tech is being worked up to see these glows more clearly, to use as a diagnostic tool. There’s tons of money to be made in the field of medical diagnostics and this would sell like hotcakes to the average person, too. It will no doubt end up as a smartphone app and a special camera.
Someone needs to tell Mexico that sailing ships are out of style and one good reason is that they don’t go under bridges very well. The “Cuauhtémoc”, which probably is ancient Aztec for “Doesn’t Like Bridges”, was exiting New York City and attempting to pass back under the Brooklyn Bridge, but instead drifted out of control and ripped off the top halves of all three masts when it collided with the bridge.
The ship lost power. Apparently the Mexican Navy at least has the sense to rely on more than just the wind, but not enough sense to make sure their engine power was in good repair.
No doubt the boat is back in NYC again now, as several sailors were killed and a bunch had to be hospitalized, and the ship isn’t going anywhere without masts.
This is how Mexicans do things. Nothing gets fixed until it’s too late and then passing on the blame becomes more important than setting policies and procedures to prevent future problems. Laziness and corruption are institutionalized in Mexico, which is why they remain the primary source of drugs and criminals that cross our borders.
The video shows the masts snapping off, one by one, as the ship collides with the Brooklyn Bridge and it’s a perfect metaphor for Mexico’s government, which is partnered with the drug cartels. A sailing ship with no sails and no controls, adrift because it’s masters are just along for the ride.
Hollywoodites are the greatest comedians on the planet. Every time some celebrity wants to change their name to something ridiculous, their wish is immediately granted and the new name is emblazoned in lights and repeated like an echo in the Grand Canyon.
Kanye West decided his name was “Ye”, and it was instantly repeated by everyone, no matter how foolish that really sounds. “Charlamagne tha God”, “Snoop Dog”, “Alice Cooper” and so on. It used to be that you had to go to court to legally change your name but not any more, now you can sign contracts using your phony name and they’re honored.
So I’ve decided to change my already phony name, Black Sheep, to even phonier (if that’s possible) “Bla”, for today only, so I too can act like a Famous Celebrity For A Day. I was thinking maybe Bla tha God but that’s really sorta taken and he’s actually black whereas my black is only wool deep. “Bla” is a lot like “Ye”, only it says something special.
Which is that taking goofy names seriously is, well, goofy. I mean, imagine Clint Eastwood changing his name to Ood. Face it, we wouldn’t be able to hide our smirks.
There’s a lot of scientific documentaries up on the Internet, Facebook and Netflix on all sorts of subjects. One of my favorites is Ancient History, something that we’re slowly gaining more knowledge of and insight into as more discoveries are made, and of course a big focus is on ancient Egypt.
The Egyptian government very steadfastly claims that all the pyramids and all the other immense stone structures were built by them, by their wonderful super marvelous terrific ancestors that they’re directly related to in an unending succession of generations since the most ancient of times. The fact that modern archaeology has soundly disproved this does not dissuade them from insisting on this lie, anyway. Modern Egypt has nothing going for it at all, their only claim to glory is of their ancestors and they cling to it in the face of all proof otherwise. The last thing they want the world to know is that these esteemed ancestors of theirs came upon the amazing remaining ruins of a great civilization that was destroyed when the ocean rose and submerged it, and then built on top of it and even claimed it as their own creations.
The Egyptians did build many amazing palaces and monuments, but they didn’t build the Great Pyramids or the Sphinx and some of the other ancient buildings.
The Sphinx is one of many proofs of much greater age. The severe erosion it’s suffered was caused by heavy rainfall and monsoon rains, which began about 10,500 years ago and ended about 7000 years ago. Since then Egypt has been extremely arid with almost no rainfall, sometimes none for years. The Sphinx was therefor created before the monsoons began, with most professionals in this field dating it at about 12,000 years or earlier.
The last ice age ended 12,000 years ago as the Earth warmed up and that caused monsoon rains.
One interesting little fact is that the ancient egyptians had cocaine, or at lease the coca leaf it comes from, which comes only from South America. Coca leaf has been found among the ingredients they stuffed into the corpses they mummified. So we know there was international sea trade at least 5000 years ago.
There’s no explanation for how 200 ton stone blocks were moved for many miles. There’s massive blocks that were never finished being cut in quarries that have circular saw cut marks. They used hole drills on the rocks. The stones are fit together with great precision. We can’t do this today, how did they do it then unless they had a very advanced technology based on rock as a primary construction material?
Humans always choose the easiest way to do a job, because it’s the most efficient. When the making of concrete was discovered it became the primary building material of the Romans because it was the easiest way to create strong and lasting stone structures. So why were such massive stone blocks the easiest way, 12,000 or more years ago?
HEADLINE: EU Pledges 600 Million Pounds To Lure American Gender and Climate Scientists
Yup, they want all those Leftists, Liberals and Socialist retards that have been de-funded here, to move there and join them in their relentless effort to get boys to think they’re girls, block out the sunlight, make everyone hate White people, and so on, and I personally can’t thank them enough.
I wish them total success in this effort to relocate all these mentally ill people to Western Europe and get them the hell out of the USA.
The next day, May 13, morning. Now I get it. I just watched videos of Pres. Trump arriving in Saudi Arabia and they really gave him a royal welcome, the Crown Prince walked up to shake his hand as he stepped off the stairway to the aircraft, cannons were booming in the background, there were men and horses covered in fancy armor carrying flags of both Saudi Arabia and the USA. What a show! How could little Qatar compete with that? Well, they could give the US a super luxury airplane to use as Air Force One for our president’s personal use. That would deflect from all the attention the Saudis were getting and make the world look at them. And it did.
Can you believe it? The “Hate the Great Satan” Middle East nations are now starting to vie with each other for American favor.
May 12,2025 What’s up with Qatar giving the US a $billion$ aircraft to use as Air Force One and Trump accepting it? This is being made to sound like it’s a gift to Trump, which it can’t be because it’s against the law for him to accept such a gift from a foreign power. There’s a value limit and this far exceeds it. This is a gift to the USA that is handed to Pres. Trump for his use as Air Force One until Boeing finally gets around to the one they were supposed to have finished a year ago and are still at least another year away from completion.
Qatar is a devout enemy of Israel. They’re behind much of the support for Hamas, Hamas leaders are sheltered in Qatar, hostage negotiations are held in Qatar. Why are they sucking up to Pres. Trump? What are they getting out of this? These are Arab Muslims, they don’t give anything away, everything has a long string attached, everything comes with a price, so what’s the price?
The aircraft will actually belong to the Defense Dept., not Pres. Trump. Personally I’d be afraid to fly in it, there could easily be a bomb built into it that can be set off with a radio signal, a small bomb would be plenty adequate, how would you find it within the structure of such a huge aircraft?
Acceptance of this gift has to pass several government agencies before it can happen, if it does. This is not a done deal. While I see Pres. Trump’s view that a gift of this value to our country is foolish to refuse, it also comes from a terrorist government, which would make it hard for me to accept.
I think this may be another of his deal games. The current Air Force One plane is 40 years old, and there’s no excuse for Boeing not to have built the new one long before now and accepting a new aircraft from Qatar is definitely a slam at Boeing. This is really bad publicity for them and might just be the kick in the butt they need to get the job done. In the end it’s very possible that Qatar’s gift will be refused.
Strange things are afoot in the Middle East that you can bet are going to affect us all.
Previously I posted that for all the talk of deporting all the illegal aliens that were allowed to swarm into the country, it won’t happen and only the criminals, gang members and other undesirables would be booted out. So far, this is the case.
The reason I gave for this is that these new people are wanted as employees of the factories and businesses that are expected to start up as a result of the tariff increases, which encourage investors to build new factories here and produce the goods here that have been produced overseas, primarily in China. This is happening now, investment is pouring in.
Something else has been added to this story. Expatriate Chinese experts on China’s economy and politics who now live here in the US are telling us that they think China’s population has collapsed and that China’s claim of 1.4 billion people is utterly false. They’re saying it’s actually between 300 million and 400 million, in other words, about what ours is. There’s currently no way to prove this but it is inferred using satellite data mostly, because China’s stopped giving out any statistics that might possibly indicate their true population size. They’re hiding the statistics of their population decline, which of course lends a lot of credence to what those expatriate Chinese experts are saying.
Allowing in all those many millions of people into the US in a short period of time is causing problems, but not any that are too much to deal with, probably primarily because our government has been doling out so much financial support to those who are unemployed. That angered many Americans but now, doing so makes sense. It’s kept them here and out of trouble, and out of jails. We just might now have parity in population, or more so in regards to our work force because of China’s One Child policy that was enforced for decades.
If you watch any current news documentary on China’s internal problems, they’re major. Factories closing or barely staying in business with drastically reduced workers employed, mass worker demonstrations because they’re not getting paid, some for months now, mass demonstrations demanding Xi step down. China’s economy is in terrible shape and rapidly getting worse. Trump’s plans are working. The end of Xi’s reign more and more appears imminent, and who knows, possibly even the end of that government.
This is only speculation, but… if Xi goes and the communist government is replaced with a democratic republic of sorts, there could arise a whole new political/economic alliance between the USA and China. Russia would find themselves with no choice but to join it and other nations would follow suit.
Perhaps enough other nations that a global government would form. Is this the plan?
