#1 POST. PAVING THE WAY FOR WAR

Cackling Kamala Harris, a creature formally known as our Vice President, finally said something without sounding stupid when she announced this morning at the Munich Security Conference in Germany that the United States has formally declared Russia guilty of crimes against humanity. Here is her full statement:

“From the starting days of this unprovoked war, we have witnessed Russian forces engage in horrendous atrocities and war crimes. Their actions are an assault on our common values, an attack on our common humanity,” Harris said.

“And let us be clear. Russian forces have pursued a wide spread and systemic attack against a civilian population,” she continued. “Gruesome acts of murder, torture, rape and deportation. Executions, killings, beatings and electrocution. Russian authorities have forcibly deported hundreds of thousands of people from Ukraine to Russia, including children.”

“The United States has formally determined that Russia has committed crimes against humanity,” Harris said.

This is important because now the United States is free to attack Russia without sanctions from the UN. More than that, and this wasn’t mentioned in the article citing this, is that Russia is now put on notice that we are free to enter the war and may do so at any time.

This may not deter Putin, but it should have a profound effect on his generals and admirals, and the civilian population of Russia, none of whom are likely to want to see this war with Ukraine balloon into a war with the United States and all of NATO.

Now we wait to see the results. Will other NATO nations start jumping on board with the US on this? What will be the response in Russia?

I know what the US goal is, it’s to drive out Putin and collapse the Russian economy, and I think this is calculated to make Putin do something drastic and stupid to give the US the desired result.

Leftists Want a New Civil War

America’s Civil War, which raged from 1861 to 1865, was by far the bloodiest conflict in our history. Original estimates put the death toll at about 620,000, including some 360,000 Union and 260,000 Confederate dead. More recent estimates of the carnage are even higher: 750,000 to 850,000. The Battle of Antietam on Sept. 17, 1862, at Sharpsburg, Maryland, still ranks as the bloodiest day in U.S. history, with nearly 23,000 casualties on both sides, including 3,675 killed in action. How does a country possibly recover from a calamity so huge?

But recover we did. Thanks to the wisdom of martyred president Abraham Lincoln and the munificence of soldiers who had fought brother against brother, reconciliation, and reunification were achieved, and our country not only survived but prospered.

It could have been so much worse. Bloody guerrilla warfare might have persisted for decades. But saner heads on both sides prevailed. After all, Lincoln’s goal had been nothing short of preservation the United States of America.

No Whites Allowed: Fifth-Grade School Club for ‘People of Color’ Discriminates Against White Students

The email described the fifth-grade group as a weekly lunchtime hangout exclusive only to BIPOC students in order to provide them with a ‘safe space.”I feel like it’s promoting segregation at our schools, and we’ve moved away from that,’ a concerned mother stated.

A club at an elementary school in Olympia, Washington, is being accused of racial discrimination after it barred a white student from joining due to his skin color.

The mother of a Centennial Elementary School student says she was shocked when she recently learned her son was excluded from joining a club supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) students.

Mom Jessica Juergens told KOMO News by not allowing him to participate in the school club was racially prejudiced against her white son, who would have joined as an ally.

“My son came home and said that they came into the classes, and they were promoting this and talked it up to the students, but then he found out that since he was white, he wasn’t able to participate,” the mom, Jessica Juergens, told KOMO News.

“They have their friends that they want to play with at lunch, and a fourth or fifth grader can’t understand why they can’t play with their friends.”

“I feel like it’s promoting segregation at our schools, and we’ve moved away from that,” the concerned mother added.

An email obtained by KOMO News distributed by school principal Shannon Ritter described the fifth-grade group as a weekly lunchtime hangout exclusive only to BIPOC students in order to provide them with a “safe space.”

A statement from a district spokesperson to KOMO News appeared to confirm the “mentor program” was districtwide and sanctioned by the district.

“The purpose of the districtwide OSD Mentor Program is to provide leadership and mentoring opportunities for students with an emphasis on historically underrepresented populations including students of color and those impacted by poverty. Staff work with students to determine their goals and needs by building relationships and creating spaces for students to share experiences which informs how the program is built.

The Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Mentor Group at Centennial Elementary School, and some other schools, is an outgrowth of this districtwide effort. It serves students by providing opportunities for peer interaction and a space for social, emotional and academic support. This space allows for more honest and open conversations about differences and identity and how it impacts one’s experiences in school. It is designed to be a student-led group facilitated by an adviser to plan for leadership opportunities.

Groups like this are important for elevating voices and are instrumental in helping our district design a responsive educational experience that meets the needs of all students. At the same time, we recognize that they cannot be exclusionary. Moving forward, we will ensure that school leadership and staff are specific about the purpose of these groups, while simultaneously removing any exclusions to participation.

Yes, I can confirm that Principal Ritter sent the email you attached to your email request for comment.”

Addressing the parent’s complaint, a spokesperson for the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, which oversees K-12 public education in Washington, said there’s no guidance on “affinity groups,” but that a student who feels segregated could file a complaint “and we would be likely to provide technical assistance to the school to clarify that they should not exclude students who wish to participate.”

Meanwhile, the mom’s worried about being retaliated against for publicizing the incident, but says she “wants the district to act.”
