FUN WITH HUMANS

Humans can be a ton of fun to mess with. We Tralfamadorians from the Zogg galaxy get a huge kick out of blowing their minds. One of our favorite tricks is to recreate some ancient creature out of our DNA data banks and let some humans see it, then vaporize it. Where did it go? Where did it go? It’s hilarious. Here’s a video some human took of a pterosaur we made, we thought for sure he was going to miss seeing it but instead it worked out great.

Another one is Sasquatch, or Big Foot. We made a bunch of these recreations of long extinct apemen several centuries ago and planted them near a native human village to watch the fun. The first thing the natives did after discovering them was paint their faces and dance around a fire, making lots of noise, apparently hoping that would drive our creations off. Instead it made them curious and they walked right up to the villagers and jumped up and down. I don’t know if they were dancing or threatening but the villagers weren’t taking any chances, I guess, and started attacking them with spears and knives.

There were dead and wounded on both sides before our apemen scattered into the forest. We were laughing so hard we forgot to round them up and vaporize them, our mistake because they made more of themselves, I mean, you know, only at least they stay out of sight which is good because trying to find them all and vaporize them would be nearly impossible now.

Sadly we’ve had to quit doing this, mostly because of humans developing image software and Artificial Intelligence that can create really realistic looking monsters of any kind you want, and when we tried having one walk along a public street with lots of people, they kept asking for it’s autograph. What’s the fun in that? They’re so used to seeing fakes on a screen that look real, that they’re not surprised to see the real thing alive in front of them.

Maybe it’s time we went ahead with that invasion. They’ll think it’s a remake of “Independence Day” right up until it’s too late.
