First, note that “The Biden Administration” says, not Joe Biden or “the President says”. This stuff is not coming from the White House.
So why are they trying to boss Israel around and set deadlines? Because there’s two large US Naval armadas stationed there, complete with aircraft carriers, whose purpose is to prevent the other Muslim nations from interfering in this war, it’s costing a fortune, and they want those ships to be somewhere else?
Where do they want them to go? I don’t know but there’s possibilities. China may be about to invade Taiwan, Venezuela may be about to invade Guyana. Maybe they need them at Ukraine. Whatever the reason, the US military is concerned enough that “General Charles Q. Brown, the top US general, will join Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin for meetings in Israel in the coming days, the Pentagon said on Thursday.”
A point I’d make now is just how important that tiny little country is to the world. General Brown is the Pentagon Chief of Staff.
Supposedly, they “will meet with the prime minister and minister of defense to reinforce the importance of taking civilian safety into account during operations and the critical need to increase delivery of humanitarian assistance”, but the real reason will be to discuss ways to lessen the danger of intervention from Syria, Egypt, Lebanon and other wanna-be attackers, so those ships can be deployed elsewhere.
My bet is that at least a couple of US guided missile cruisers and a few destroyers will be left behind as a warning to Israels enemies.

The problem with most of the Jewish members of Congress is that they’re Leftists. Being born Jewish doesn’t mean they take their religion seriously. From what I see, the Muslims are getting a lot of bad press from the MSM for their support of the Hamas atrocities but that’s not going to split the Democrat party. It just means the Muslims will be told to shut up, is all.
A lot of the Leftists are Christians, a lot of people who call themselves Democrats are Christians, and a lot of Christian Democrats hate Jews just as a lot of Republicans hate Jews too. It’s a mixed bag. In my experience the only time Christians take their religion seriously is when they think they’re going to die.
As for Trump, when he ran the first time he was a patriot. This time around he’s a politician. He was making deals by the end of his first term and I’m sure he’s making more now in hopes of a second term and will make a lot more deals if he’s elected, if he wants to get anything done at all. Because he has to work with those who hold the power.
Keep in mind that the two parties are a Uniparty where it matters. When it comes to governing this country, everyone who counts is on the Left and Trump will have to come to agreements with the Left if he wins a second term.
