Here’s a super-fun topic that I know everyone is going to be wetting their undies in their eagerness to comment about.
Energy fields. Lately I’ve been entertaining myself with a few Internet AIs, discussing energy fields, from the atomic level up to planetary to Black Hole level and surprising myself both on what physicists do know, and what they don’t. Also surprising myself on what I know, since I suck at mathematics.
Theoretical physics can be a different matter, though, because it’s sort of philosophical, you have to envision subatomic fields and their interactions to develop an understanding of these forces, it’s all done inside the head instead of on paper or a chalkboard. Or a laptop, I suppose.
Anyway, what I describe to the AI’s as being the states and functions of subatomic fields that I visualize is what the AI’s tell me is analogous to what the physicists say, so either we’re all full of it, or I’m on to something.
Seriously, it sounds like boring egghead stuff, I know, but it actually is fun to get into. It’s great mental exercise and way better than dementia.
